Trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Amy takes a holistic approach to the root causes of sleep issues—from workplace stress to hormonal changes. She is a member of the British Sleep Society and a frequent expert contributor to national publications.

Dr Alex brings over 25 years of NHS experience to Smart Steps, including a decade supporting women through the often-overlooked impact of medically induced menopause. Her oncology background has shaped a rare quality in her practice: the ability to hold genuinely complex, emotional experiences with clinical authority and calm. An executive coach currently training with the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust towards Advanced Accreditation with the EMCC, she has also completed CBT training specifically for menopause, combining psychological insight with practical, evidence-based support that creates lasting change.
